UKWA and Savills are to team up for a major industry event on November 21st 2018 at the British Museum, creating a unique opportunity for delegates to attend UKWA’s highly topical Feeding Cities Summit and gain free access to Savills’ popular Annual Big Shed Breakfast.
According to CEO Peter Ward, the twin themes of available warehousing and food & drink supply chains against a background of rising concerns over the impact of Brexit on the industry, will make this an unmissable event for the Autumn.
“The lack of high quality strategically located warehousing, required to feed our major cities and meet the demands of online ordering, is already a critical issue for our industry,” he says. “This conference will enable us to understand the real challenges we face as we head towards the possibility of a ‘no deal’ Brexit and debate potential solutions for a sustainable
future for us all.”
Further details of the joint event, including programme and speakers, will be available shortly.
Registration cost of £275 + vat for UKWA members and £295 + vat for non members includes access to both the Feeding Cities Summit and Savills Big Shed Breakfast, plus a free copy of UKWA’s seminal report ‘Feeding London 2030: meeting the logistical challenge’.
