UKWA’s History, Advisory Boards and Governance

UKWA History

First established in 1944, UKWA has a distinguished track record in representing the logistics industry.

Advisory Boards

UKWA has several specialist Advisory Boards to ensure that members receive best-in-class advice and support.

A board of directors, who are supported by a supervisory board, meet at least quarterly to focus on matters such as governance and finance.

About our members

All UKWA member companies have been independently assessed and audited by the Association, have demonstrated the highest standards in warehousing and provide great value services. Therefore, when you use an UKWA accredited company, you can depend on excellent quality, whether your requirement is for warehousing, MHE products or 3PL logistics services.

Joanne Gumery, Sales Marketing Manager of Paul Ponsonby Ltd, explains how we help our members retain their service excellence and provide them with the right tools to manage their warehouse space.
